Welcome to Linda Blakelys Boutique. By using our website and services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree to any part of the terms or conditions, then please discontinue using our services.
About Linda Blakely’s Boutique
Linda Blakelys Boutique provides dress rental services through it’s website (henceforth known as ‘the site’). Customers can apply to rent dresses/ jumpsuits etc for a specified period, subject to availability and rental terms. Rental may be denied at any time, without a specific reason.
Linda Blakely’s Boutique’s mission is to enable others to enjoy wearing high fashion and exclusive designers at a fraction of the cost, promoting reusability, sustainability and therefore helping to reduce the environmental impact of clothing consumption and carbon emissions.
Eligibility
To use our services, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Live in the UK
- Complete the ID section accurately, truthfully and successfully
- Once accepted by the site, you must not allow any other persons to rent under your name/ account details or you will be liable. If you suspect that someone else has used your account without your knowledge you must notify us immediately. You will also be liable for any unauthorised activity from your account.
- Keep your personal details/ card details up to date
- Agree to these terms and conditions
Rental Period
Rental periods are requested at the time of booking and if agreed, will begin on the delivery date. Clothing must be posted back by the agreed ‘end of rental’ date and not later. Late returns will incur the listed daily rental fee applied for the amount of days returned late inclusive.
Rental periods can be extended if the request is emailed to the site before the last day if rental and is agreed by the site. The extra fees will be required to be paid.
Returns
Dresses must be returned in the same condition as received. Return instructions and prepaid label process will be generated.
Fit Policy
If an item doesn’t fit, you can apply to have the rental amount back in credit for another rental. This Fit Policy only applies if we are notified by email on the day of receipt.

Fees/ Charges
- Rental fee is applied to the renting of the garment.
- Delivery fee is applied after the renting process and is added at the checkout
- Cleaning fee and service fee is also applied at the checkout stage
- Late return fee is only incurred if the postage back is made after the ‘end date’ of the rental date.
- Damage fee is if the garment has been returned with damage or stains that cannot be removed by the usual dry cleaning method.
- Loss of garment fee will be charged to the credit card held on the account and will be the cost to replace the dress (if possible) or the full retail value (if not possible to replace). Attempts to replace using second hand websites will also be made.
DO NOT RENT A GARMENT THAT YOU HAVE INSUFFICIENT FUNDS TO COVER THE REPLACEMENT VALUE.
Customer Responsibility
Customers using the site and renting garments will treat the items in such a way, with good care, as if they are their own. They should take every possible effort to maintain the item in good condition. Renters should not partake in any activity or exercise wearing the garment that could result in damage or excessive wear, or staining.
By submitting a request to rent a garment, the customer is agreeing that they have read the description of the item, size and all details specific to that garment. They are also agreeing to use the return tracked method of posting as outlined in the instructions sent to them with the garment.
Cancellation Policy
A request to cancel a rental must be made via email to the site at least 7 full days before the rental start date. A refund will be issued in accordance with our cancellation policy or in the event of an issue caused by Linda Blakely’s Boutique.
Cancellations may be possible within the 7 days but may be subject to credit issued instead of a refund. Such cancellations will be considered on an individual basis.
Linda Blakely’s Boutique also reserves the right to deactivate or block an account at anytime without limitation, and for any reason without specification. The account user will be notified by email.
Delivery
Parcels cannot be left with a neighbour or in a safe place. Leaving instructions for a delivery service may result in a loss for which you will be responsible. Your rental is intended to be received by you at your chosen delivery address on your rental start date.
Ownership of Garments
All items remain the property of Linda Blakely’s Boutique. Customers/renters have no ownership rights to garments rented.
Limitation of Liability
Linda Blakely’s Boutique is not liable for :
- Delays caused by shipping carriers or unforeseen circumstances
- Injuries, allergic reactions, scratches from sequins or any other issues resulting to any of the garments rented
- Any indirect, incidental or consequential damages
Privacy
Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to the collection, use and sharing of your information as described.
Modification to Terms
Linda Blakely’s Boutique reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at anytime. Changes will be effective upon posting on the site and the date at top of Terms and Conditions will be amended accordingly. Please check this date for amendments before each separate rental. Continued use of our services indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Jurisdiction, following efforts of mediation.
